About the Artist

Margie is a certified elementary school teacher with a passion for children and art. She has attended conventions and classes led by master face painters, and continues to fuel her passion from studying the talents of others in her field. In just a few minutes time, she has the gift of developing a connection with her clients. Margie's greatest accomplishment is not the final product of her work, but the overly excited reactions to what she truly painted, a smile.

What kind of events can I hire you for?

Birthday parties, block parties, showers, Grand openings, Sweet Sixteens, Bat/Bar Mitzvahs, Christenings, Festivals, Fundraisers, School Functions, Community Days, Family Fun Day, Sporting Events, Entertaining Guests,  Corporate Events, Holiday Parties, Company Picnics, Product Promotions, Church Functions, Opening Day, Street Fairs, Open House, Halloween…. and the list goes on and on….

What kind of paint do you use?

Sweet Cheeks Face Painting uses only FDA approved, water-base, professional face makeup and glitter that removes easily with mild soap and water, baby wipes, or make up remover.  

How long should I book you for my event?

Generally most face painters can paint an average of 10-12 faces per hour depending on the design requested.  Rule of thumb:  Elaborate designs take more time; simple designs take less. 

For larger groups, Sweet Cheeks Face Painting can provide more than one painter.  Also, if you’re on time constraints for larger functions, instead of hiring one artist to paint for 4 hours, you can hire two painters to paint for two hours therefore having more children painted in a shorter amount of time.

Do you paint just the children at parties, or do you also paint the adults? 

Face painting isn’t just for kids!  Adults want to join the fun too!  Please let the artists know ahead of time if it is permissible to paint both the children and the adults at your event.   Remember, the more people, the more time it will take.

Should I tip?

It’s never expected, but always appreciated.  It’s a way to let us know we did a great job at your party. 

How far in advance should I book you?

The earlier you book, the more likely it is that we will be available on the day of your event.  Generally 3-4 weeks is sufficient.  Of course, if we are  available, We’d be happy to accept last minute bookings.
